A lady from Ethiopia was saved reading "Your Ticket to Heaven"

Several days ago, I was in a big home improvement store. I stopped at a counter  with three ladies behind it and asked for directions to find a certain item. They told me and I said, "Let me give you some directions to heaven" and gave them "Your Ticket to Heaven." Of course I did it all on purpose. One of them, a black lady from Ethiopia said, "Oh, I want that, I will read it" and reached out to get it. The other two took the tract but turned away to work. Very briefly I told this lady to read it and if she really wants to go to heaven and understands it to pray from her heart to receive the Lord Jesus.

Amazing but from that moment I prayed and expected to see her get saved all by herself after reading the tract. The next three days I went back to see her but was not able to see her. Late this afternoon I went back again and was told she was at check out counter number 5. She wasn't there. I wandered through the store about to give up. Finally I went to the garden center and there she was and had heard I was looking for her.

This will thrill you.... When I asked if she read the tract, she replied, "I really did and I could understand what you wrote. At the end I prayed what you wrote and am now sure I am going to heaven."

After talking to her for several minutes it was obvious she was saved and had assurance of it. The big thrill is that God saved her all by Himself, just from reading the tract. I will never get over what I saw God do with "Your Ticket to Heaven." When we get to heaven we will be thrilled to see a multitude who were saved just like that and we never heard about it. We must be faithful to give the gospel to every person. Tracts are one way everyone can get the gospel to everyone we meet.You know they now have a chance to go to heaven. I call it offering them a ticket to heaven.

Kind sir, dear lady, I have a passion that you will have tons of trophies and treasures when you get to heaven. Tracts, that clearly give the gospel, is one method every one can use to share the gospel. Please do it to His glory and for their good.

Most important today, "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord" Ps 33:12.

WELL GLORY. GOD ANSWERED YOUR PRAYERS AND MINE. CELESTE AND I SAW OUR HEART DR. HE CHECKED AND ALL THE FLUID ON HER LUNGS  IS GONE. He canceled and changed some medicines he felt was causing other problems. We are so grateful. We have wept with joy. THANK YOU. So many wrote they were praying. Great will be your reward in heaven.

Constant Burning of the Oil

The oil was to "cause the lamp to burn always." This was to be a constant burning It was not enough for the lamp to burn brightly one day and be quenched the next. God was so concerned in Samuel's day that "ere the lamp of God went out in the temple of the Lord...the Lord called Samuel" (1 Sam 3:3-4). Another admonition of God for us is to "quench not the Spirit" (1 Thess. 5:19). Any urge, yearning, or desire we may ever have  for spiritual things, God put it there and wants us to respond and not to quench the Holy Spirit.

Remember, we studied and found there were over 60 ministries of the Holy Spirit to and through believers. No wonder there is so much emphasis on the Lampstand and oil in the tabernacle.

Remember, "It is God which worketh in you both to will (desire) and to do of His good pleasure (Phil. 2:13). What a sacred thing that God should give us even one desire to please Him! The reason people don't read the Word or pray or witness is that they don't want to.  If there is one desire in your heart to please God, be assured that He put it there; and God help us if we "quench Spirit" who gives that desire.

The clean oil, no impurities

Notice in Exodus 27:20 that it was to be pure oil or, as the Hebrew word means, clean.  There were to be no impurities lest they hindered the light from burning. There was to be no mixture, only the pure oil. So today, if we are to shine for the Lord' there must not be any impurities in our lives that would grieve the Holy Spirit We are told, "Grieve not the holy Spirit of God" (Eph. 4:30). Above all else, the Holy Spirit is holy. Any impurity in our lives grieve Him who is so designated. The reason so many lose the consciousness of His peace, and presence is that they allow so-called little things in their lives. With all the jealousy, envy, strife, and hate among the saints, no wonder there is little power in the average church.  The Holy Spirit has to work on the believer to convict him of sin, instead of through him to convert sinners.

When David sinned and acknowledged it, he asked God to restore the joy of His salvation (Ps. 51:12). If you lack the joy you once knew as a child of God, perhaps you, too, have grieved the Holy Spirit. Praise God, you can have peace and joy restored when you confess the sin that the Holy Spirit is putting His finger on right now, for "if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 Jn. 1:9). If we don't judge ourselves, confess our sins, He will chasten us", spank us, withhold good things from us. "Whom He loves He chastens" Heb 12:6.

"Search me, O God and know my heart, try me and know my thoughts; and see if there be any wicked way in me and lead me in the way of everlasting." Ps 139:23,24.
