Signs of His Coming

"What will be the sign of your coming? Matt 24:3-25:46.

Now comes the signs
These are the signs of the coming of the Lord Jesus to set up His kingdom, claim His kingdom and rule for 1000 years, when there will be peace, "Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven." This is the coming the Jews were looking for. There is a real reason we need to know them too. For if the rapture takes place seven years before this coming and we see signs of His coming to earth, it should stir us to be looking for His coming.

The big key to the signs
"All these are the beginning of sorrows" vs. 8. The Greek word for "sorrows" means "birth pains." I really do not know why this is not preached and taught more. When the birth pains become more frequent and more intense you know the arrival is nearer. Many of the things Jesus tells about have been around since His day BUT it does not take a rocket scientist to see they are far more frequent and far more intense. This should be a great wake up call to you and me.

Signs of the times
"Wars, famines, and earthquakes in various places" vs. 6,7 have been around for ages but never the frequency and intensity as today.

"Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name" v. 9. My word, this is happening today before our very eyes as never before. America is being threatened because of their kind treatment of Israel. Spain and other countries have been threatened, attacked and warned to abandon America or face terrorists attacks. Countries are being held "hostage" by the threats of the terrorists because of their support of Israel and their right to exist. WAKE UP WORLD. This is prophecy being fulfilled in an unusual way and more frequently than anyone could have imagined.

The gospel must be preached
"This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come " 14. More on this later but we are seeing more done to get the gospel out than ever before also. We must all get in on it.

Prayer:  Father, bless your dear people and help us all to preach the gospel to individuals so they have a chance to go to heaven instead of hell. In Jesus dear name

My word, how did I do it? I meant to comment on the letters to the seven churches, for they speak to my church and your church, to me and you, today.

God knows
"I know thy works" Rev. 2:2, 9, 13, 19, 3:1, 8, 15. "All things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do " Heb. 4:13. What an awesome thought. In Ephesus, they had left their first love." 2:4. Sound familiar? In Thyatira, "you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, and she teaches and leads My bond-servants astray so that they commit acts of immorality. " 2:20. In Laodicea, they were neither cold nor hot, but lukewarm and said, I have need of nothing" 3:15-17. That describes the church today more than any other. To name but just a few.

To him that overcometh
There is an open opportunity, there is an alternative advantage, there is a present possibility. Overcome the problem. Don't just sit there.

Dear people, we need Christians and churches who will be overcomers. Resign from the blame game. Quit the quitters. Join the victors and lets get back to normal Christians and churches. To him that overcomes, "I will give," "I will make," "I will grant to sit with me in my throne." What's your problem? What's your excuse? What is your besetting sin? What' holding you back? "Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world." 1 John 4:4. "Rise up, O men of God." We need an old fashioned Spiritual revival and Spiritual reformation. We must as individuals and institutions go back to Scriptural and Spiritual living. It calls for courage, conviction and commitment but we must or we are sunk.

Chose you this day
"As for me, I will serve the Lord" Josh 24:15. "Therefore remember from where you have fallen, and repent and do the deeds you did at first" Rev. 2:5. Go back to reading at least 5 chapters of the Bible daily. "First of all, pray for all men all 6 billion, that they might be saved. Pray for kings and all in authority, that we might lead a quiet and peaceable life" 1 Tim 2:1,2. "Preach the gospel to every person, you have that few minutes alone with them. "Love me" Jesus asked. Tell Him so. Stay in love with Jesus. BE AN OVERCOMER, that's all.

Prayer:  Father, we love You. You are so wonderful. Make us overcomers, help us to get in the game and see our world turned right side up again. In Jesus name.
