Jesus is Coming He Said So!!!

Jesus is coming again, He said so, "I will come again" John 14:3. What a promise! What a prophecy! It will be fulfilled!

Another prophecy

In the same chapter Jesus prophesied, "I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever" vs. 16. Did you get that? Not maybe but for sure, FOREVER. More on this later. "But you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you" vs. 17. This is staggering. "Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own" 1 Cor. 6:19. "But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him." Rom. 8:9. That is pretty plain. The Holy Spirit came to take up where Jesus left off. He came to takeover the ministry of God on the earth. Dear people, meditate on this, let it soak in and let the Holy Spirit do in and through you what He came to do.

Why do we have the Holy Spirit

"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you" vs. 26. This promise was primarily fulfilled through the lives of the apostles in the writing of the New Testament. "Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God" 1 Cor. 2:12. If you learn anything from these Emails, the Holy Spirit taught you! I am eternally indebted to Dr. Lewis Sperry Chafer, founder of Dallas Seminary for burning this blessed truth into my heart in 1945. The Holy Spirit is the teacher of the things of God. YOU have this teacher in you, if you are born again! Awesome, isn't it?

Jesus went up in Acts 1 and the Spirit came down in Acts 2 "He said to them, but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses" Acts 1:7,8. He is the teacher and the power to witness. We have no excuses for not getting in on both! These two prophesies have been fulfilled and so will all the rest of them! Stay with us and let's get in on all of them.

Prayer:  Father, You are so wonderufl. Thank You for sending the Holy Spirit as was prophesied so we can learn and do what you want us to do. In Jesus name.

O dear People, let's not forget that God has fulfilled prophecy already in our lives.

And I love you, all because the Lord Jesus suffered and died for our sins, paid our debt in full and rose again so we can be forgiven and go to heaven, sumner. Are you a believer? Receive Him right now. "He that has the Son, has life"

The Two Comings of Christ

Two comings of the Messiah

The Jews missed the coming of their Messiah because they missed the prophecies. His first coming is in Isa. 52:13-53:12. If you know this passage you know it could fit no one but the Lord Jesus. "He was despised and rejected of man." He was wounded for our transgressions" etc. Israel was looking for their King, their Messiah did not fit the Lord Jesus and thus they did not recognize Him.

The king is coming

Isa. 9:6,7 are the classic verses on the coming of their Messiah to rule and reign. He is called in these passages the "Prince of peace." "Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David and upon his kingdom, to order it and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever."

The King, meek and lowly

"Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout in triumph, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king is coming to you; He is just and endowed with salvation, Humble, and mounted on a donkey, Even on a colt, the foal of a donkey" Zech. 9:9. Israel did not rightly divide the Word of truth and missed their messiah.

The two comings of Christ ahead: the rapture

One He is coming for his saints in 1 Thes. 4:16-18. "For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words" We meet him in the air.

The second coming to the earth: the revelation He comes with his saints, not for his saints as in 1 Thes. 4:13ff. "At the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints" 1 Thes. 3:13. He comes to the earth "In that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives" Zech. 14:4 and not in the air as in the "rapture" seven years earlier. Details on this later.

As in the Old Testament, many were confused and missed their messiah because they did not discern the two comings of Christ told about in the O.T. Today, some are confused because they do not discern the two comings of Christ at the rapture when we saints will meet Him in the air and the second coming to the earth with His saints and they rule and reign for 1000 years. Details of this later.

O dear people, Jesus could come any minute now and we shall see Him as He is 1 John 3:2 and stand before Him at the Judgment seat of Christ to give an account of our deeds 2 Cor. 5:10 and get our rewards and then rule and reign with Him for the thousand years. "You too, be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour that you do not expect" Luke 12:40.

Prayer:  Father, bless Your children and help us to "be ready" and not be ashamed at Your coming. In Jesus name.

I love you, all because the Lord Jesus suffered and died for our sins, paid our debt in full and rose again so we can be forgiven and go to heaven, sumner

We Gentiles are included in Prophecy too

Gentiles in prophecy

"For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery--so that you will not be wise in your own estimation--that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in" Rom. 11:26.

Who are the gentiles

O dear people, this is an awesome part of prophecy. I can hardly wait to get into it. The Gentiles include everyone, all nations, except the Jews. You and I are in that group if your are not a completed Jew, who has found Your messiah. I tingle just thinking about all of this.

What Jews think

Sadly, many if not most Jews, think that all Gentiles, except Muslims, are Christians. The anti-Semitism of the non-Christian world, of course, really gives Christians a black eye.

Be blessed or cursed

God said to Abraham, "And I will make you a great nation, And I will bless you, And make your name great; And so you shall be a blessing; And I will bless those who bless you, And the one who curses you I will curse And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed" WOW, this is a great prophecy. Don't miss it, Gen. 12:2, 3. There is no doubt that America has been blessed because Israel has been welcomed and blessed by America over the years. God help us if we ever turn our backs on Israel.

What about the Arabs

I love them and pray for them. It has been my privilege to be in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Palestine, and Egypt. You can't help but love them if you get to know them. The tragedy is the radical Muslims who have taught, through their religion, to hate us, call us infidels and taught to kill us. Remember 9/11? All Middle Easterners who do not believe this would be wise to say it out loud, verbally and vocally, that they do not want to kill all non Muslims. I have some very dear friends who are from the middle east and Muslims who denounce this belief.

There is much in prophecy about the nations, the gentiles, the "heathen" who have not heard about Jesus nor the gospel. Don't miss this.

Prayer:  Father, may we get the gospel to the Gentiles all around us and all around the world like you told us to do. In Jesus name. all because of Calvary, sumner
